PAINTING DAY - LAUNCH PREVIEW EVENT - GALLERY EXHIBITIONS
THE ARTISTS' ROSTER IS NOW OPEN FOR 2018 - newcomers please note that this event is NOT a one day painting competition
Following on from a highly successful 2017 event and exhibitions; we are calling professional artists to take part in a unique opportunity to paint within the grounds and vicinity of the iconic Inn at Whitewell, and Forrest of Bowland, for the prostate cancer charity
The Inn at Whitewell - Tuesday 12th June 2018
The Art at the Inn day will be promoted to both Inn at Whitewell customers and the wider area, we are already in the Ribble Valley Guide pub. 25,000 and online.
Check-in and refreshments for artists only at the Inn at Whitewell Marquee between 9-10am. Painting at your stated spot between 10am-1pm, optional break for lunch. Painting again until preferred, and then sign-out with organisers before leaving with the artwork.
Artists are welcome to visit the locations, take photographs, and start their piece in advance of the event day and complete their work later. All we ask is that artists attend on the day (12th June) and create the work in progress. The marquee is available for weather cover at any point and for artists that prefer to work indoors.
Finished works are to be delivered to Whitewell Social Hall on Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th June (10am - 4pm), suitably framed and strung ready to exhibit. Artists that have traveled from distant galaxies may wish to leave a completed piece with the organisers on the 12th or 13th June, again suitably framed and strung ready to exhibit.
